| STAFF As the teacher librarian, I encourage all the students to read something 'they enjoy'.......whether it's fiction, non fiction, a magazine, newspaper, recipes, websites, blogs - even emails! I encourage suggestions from the students to purchase and try to stay one step ahead in selecting the latest in fiction and the most current, informative and certainly enjoyable, non fiction! We have the best Library!!!! |

Our Library is automated and runs on the OASIS System. It has over 16,000 resources (books, videos, DVD’s, CD-ROM’s, kits, audio tapes, pictures and a small range of periodicals.) There are 14 computers available to access the school network as well as the Internet. The main aim of our Library is to provide a dynamic environment for independent learners and to provide services and curriculum resources of the highest quality and relevance. The Library operates as a vital instrument in the education process. It is integrated as much as possible in the teaching and learning processes of the school. Teaching staff are encouraged to practice co-operative planning and teaching with the Teacher Librarian. Literacy is a focus we do this by selecting appropriate and appealing reading materials.
